Derived from bolting cilantro that's going to seed, but hasn't dried into true coriander yet, each shiny green seed evokes notes of pink peppercorns, lemon verbena, and a touch of the tropics. Infused into our ACV with the freshest of Meyer lemons, this shrub is wonderfully sophisticated and versatile. Use it to make a delicious sparkling citrus marinade, sparkling water, or cocktails.

Did you know? Shrubs are a slightly sweet, acidic syrup usually made from vinegar, sugar, and fruit juices. Ours are handcrafted steps from the orchard with the award-winning ACV of our hand picked apples. We use just a touch of sugar and whole fruit—not just their juices—for the fullest natural flavor.

Each glass bottle contains the live vinegar mother, full of nutrient-rich probiotics, and is finished with a cork to be beautifully displayed in any space.

We grow a variety of apples: Pink Pearl, Red Rome Beauty, Yellow Bellflower, Gravenstein, and Golden Delicious, just to name a few! Sustainability is key, so our trees are rain irrigated and all of our apple pomace and waste is spread out to fertilize our trees. Peel to pip, our process is a closed loop.

My new favorite thing

While I'd heard of shrubs before, finding Little Apple shrubs was a game changer. A shot of shrub topped off with sparkling water is my favorite drink. If you are not drinking alcohol this is a wonderful complex alternative to wine. Not sweet like so many options and almost no calories. If you are drinking you can use this to build beautiful sophisticated cocktails.
The flavors are intersting. Little Apple shrubs and sparkling water is my new favorite way kick off my evenings.. I've tried many of the flavors and they are all excellent.
