From Orchard-Fresh Apples to Handcrafted Treats
Our flavorful heirloom apples are grown and harvested right here on our Sebastopol farm. Every apple finds its perfect purpose - some become aged vinegars, others transform into sweet caramels, and the rest add natural flavor to our granola and baked goods. Nothing goes to waste, and every bite tells our story.

What started as a small organic apple farm has grown into something special. We create original recipes and handcraft every product in small batches, using ingredients we grow ourselves or source from farms that share our values. The result? Happy customers, loyal fans, and multiple Good Food Awards that make us pretty proud.

Everything begins with our farm-fresh pressed apples. We slowly boil down the juice to create a rich syrup that gives our caramels their distinctive apple flavor. Other apples become dried fruit that adds natural sweetness and crunch to our granola. For our vinegars and shrubs, we take a different path - fermenting fresh-pressed juice for a full year in French oak wine barrels. This patient process creates apple cider vinegar that's perfectly balanced - tart yet sweet, complex yet clean. Whether you're enjoying our granola, sipping vinegar straight, or savoring our caramels, you'll taste the difference that time and care make.
We grow most of our ingredients right here on our Sebastopol farm, but the ones we don't come from carefully chosen partners. We work with farmers who share our commitment to organic practices, exceptional flavor, and environmental sustainability. When you support us, you're supporting a whole network of small farms!

Finally, an apple cider vinegar that truly tastes like apples.

Our Orchards
Certified Organic since 2003
We grow a variety of apples: Pink Pearl, Red Rome Beauty, Yellow Bellflower, Gravenstein, and Golden Delicious, just to name a few! Sustainability is key, so our trees are rain irrigated and all of our apple pomace and waste is spread out to fertilize our trees. Peel to pip, our process is a closed loop.

Fun Fact: In the 70s, the apples from our orchard were used in Apple Jacks + Boo Berry Cereals!

Joanne and her husband Dan were running a flower nursery in 1999 when they bought a house in the middle of an apple orchard. Over time, Joanne’s love of growing vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers blossomed, and in 2009 she created Little Apple Treats’s first batch of apple cider vinegar. Who knew all the possibilities held in one tiny apple? Today, Joanne continues to create all our recipes, and they’re produced in our own certified manufacturing facility, just steps from the farm. Creativity and craftsmanship meet curiosity and innovation with every tasty new product we make.
